Owner of Tanya's Trinkets

First up, tell us a little bit about yourself?

I grew up in Campbelltown but moved to Wollondilly in 1998 for the rural lifestyle, which I love! I’ve now worked in Wollondilly for the past 20 years. In my free time I like spending time with my family, and going to markets and the movies, my favourite movie is definitely Eat, Prey, Love!

What about Tanya’s Trinkets, when did it all begin?

I opened Tanya’s Trinkets 6 years ago and I love, love, love my little shop.

I sell a large range of gift wares and home décor, plus everything you need for upcycling your furniture. I’m more than happy to help with any chalk painting tips and I absolutely love seeing my customer’s furniture transformations, it’s a passion of mine.

What are your customers like?

All my customers are so special to me, I love seeing and chatting with each and every one of them. Tanya’s Trinkets has been so successful due to my customers and I honestly can’t thank everyone enough for all their support over the past 6 years. My customers are not just customers, they are my friends.

Would you recommend the Dilly to those looking for somewhere new to visit?

Wollondilly is a great place to visit! There are lots of cafes and gorgeous shops to look through. You can’t miss the botanical gardens which are so beautiful and a great place to picnic with the family. My own personal favourite Wollondilly businesses are Vaby’s Restaurant and Quarryman Surf.

How can people stay up to date with everything Tanya’s Trinkets?

The best way to find my business is through Facebook. I'm constantly posting all of my new arrivals so it keeps customers up to date on what’s available.
