Meet Our Local Marketing Guru
Let’s have a chat with local business owner, Kirsti Reynolds. Kirsti lives locally with her family and runs a successful marketing agency sharing her industry expertise with Wollondilly and beyond. Most people will recognise Kirsti as the face of TKR Consulting, however she has now joined forces with a fellow business owner Amanda Dennis to launch a brand new business, RubyOnyx Marketing & Creative.
Let’s kick if off with a little bit about yourself
My name is Kirsti Reynolds. I am a wife, mother to my 6-year-old daughter and 4-year-old son. When I am not being a wife and mum, I am running a successful marketing agency right here in Wollondilly. I also volunteer my time to the Wollondilly Women in Business Network as their Marketing Officer.
What about RubyOnyx Marketing & Creative, any significance to the name?
RubyOnyx Marketing & Creative is a new brand. Most people would know me as the Owner of TKR Consulting, a marketing consulting business. The new brand name has evolved after a fellow Dilly business owner, Amanda Dennis formerly of Ruby Road Designs, and I began working together on a regular basis. We knew our services complemented each other and it made sense to join forces and be able to provide our shire, and beyond, with marketing and design expertise that spans a few decades. The name RubyOnyx came from a shared love of the colours red and black but delve a little deeper and the meanings behind the gemstones are quite fitting.
What are you customers like?
Our clients have a willingness to better their brand. We have been blown away, particularly during the pandemic, by their interest in finding other ways to market themselves which will enable them to reach their ideal customer and basically future-proof their brand and business.
How long have you called the Dilly home & what do you love about it?
I have lived in Wollondilly for the past 6 years and also a number of years ago. I love the rural lifestyle and the many opportunities presented with the future plans for our shire.
Wollondilly is a little piece of rural paradise on the doorstep of Sydney. It has so much to offer and is a great place to explore with your family and friends!
Who has been your greatest influence?
My greatest influence has been my own mother. She has worked incredibly hard throughout her working life and that hard work has resulted in a successful career. She has proven that you can achieve anything when you put your mind to it. She has always been amazing support to me in all aspects of life and I am grateful to have had such a wonderful role model to aspire to.
And to finish up, how about a sneak peak into what’s on the horizon for RubyOnyx?
We have some very exciting projects we will be launching in the coming months. This year we were awarded the Marketing Contract for the Christmas in Narellan community event as they celebrate their 10th Anniversary. While the physical event is not able to go ahead, we have developed some exciting community initiatives to keep the celebration going which kick off mid-October.
We also have a new suite of services to offer our clients and also have some new team members to announce as well as opportunities for additional team members to join us in 2022.
So overall, lots of excitement here at RubyOnyx!
