fee waivers for Wollondilly Small Businesses

Service NSW through the Small Business Fees and Charges Rebate is providing rebates of up to $1,500 to eligible small businesses. Businesses can find out more and check their eligibility on the Service NSW Website.

Wollondilly Shire Council will be further supporting Wollondilly small businesses during COVID-19 and will waive the following business-related fees until 5pm on Friday 18 February, 2022.

To enable us to assess your Council application you will be required to show evidence of your Service NSW rebate(s).

Your Wollondilly Small Business may be eligible for fee waivers if;

  • You have an Australian Business Number (ABN) registered in NSW and your business address is located in the Wollondilly LGA and
  • You have total Australian wages below the NSW Government 2020-21 payroll tax threshold of $1.2 million

Applications must be received by 5 pm on Friday 18 February, 2022.

Please note this fee waiver application form does not replace other required Wollondilly Council application forms. Please ensure the correct paperwork / form is completed and sent to Council@wollondilly.nsw.gov.au to ensure this fee waiver can be matched with your application form.

If an inspection of your premises is required, the inspection must be requested to Council by 5pm on Friday 18 February, 2022. Any inspections scheduled after this date will not be eligible for any fee waivers.

If any routine annual inspection of your premises is normally required e.g. Food Shop or Public Health Inspection, an inspection must be requested with Council by 5pm Friday 18 February 2022 in order to record an up-coming inspection.

It is recommended that the applicant submit this form prior to lodging a DA Application through the NSW Planning Portal.

The applicant must be the registered business owner for the activity to which the fee relates. Submissions made by a third party will not be accepted.

The following fees are ineligible to be waived:

  • The NSW Planning Portal lodgement fees
  • $320 Concurrence fees on applicable DA’s also payable through the NSW Planning Portal
  • Long Service Levy Fees
  • Planning Reform Levy fees for DA’s greater than $50,000 in construction value
